A giant statue of General Koxinga, on a horse on a high hill above Quanzhou, China is one of the largest tourist attractions in the city.  Koxinga   led an invasion of Taiwan and expelled the Dutch occupation of the island in the 17th century.  The temple dates back to 686 AD, and is distinguished by its pair of two five-story pagodas.
